WorshipLIFE
The purpose of the Worship Life Ministry is to offer the opportunity to gather with others in prayer and worship, sharing of the Eucharist, and Christian fellowship.
Worship Opportunities:
| • | Holy Eucharist at 9 am on Sundays |
| • | Midweek Services may include Holy Eucharist, Anointing for Healing, Evening Prayer, Compline, Morning Prayer |
| • | Seasonal services such as: Ash Wednesday Imposition of Ashes; Holy Week services of Triduum, Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, and Easter Day; Rogation Day liturgy; Blessing of the Animals (Feast Day of St. Frances of Assisi); Community Thanksgiving service; Christmas Eve services |
| • | Weddings, Baptisms, Funerals, and other special services |
Our lay worship assistants include Altar Guild, Acolytes, Lectors, Ushers, and Chalice Bearers. Other ways members serve are by volunteering as Greeters, Coffee Hosts, and Counters.
We use the Book of Common Prayer and Enriching our Worship for regular worship. Sunday readings are from the RCL (Revised Common Lectionary). We sing music from the 1982 Hymnal, Gather, Wonder, Love and Praise, Lift Every Voice and Sing II, Voices Found, and My Heart Sings Out. On special occasions we may use Lesser Feasts & Fasts, the Book of Prayer for Occasional Services, etc.
