MusicMINISTRY
The purpose of the Music Ministry is to praise God with music and songs, making "a joyful noise unto the Lord.".
Our Choir:
St. Benedict has a part-time organist/pianist and choir director on staff. The choir is made up of volunteers who always welcome new voices! They practice on Thursday evenings and Sunday mornings at 8:30 am.
Our Choir sings anthems of praise and leads the congregation in singing hymns and service music at the second service on Sundays and at other special services. We enjoy a variety of music here, mainly using The 1982 Hymnal, Gather Comprehensive, Wonder, Love and Praise, and Lift Every Voice and Sing II.
