Members of St. Benedict helped fight hunger at the Feed My Starving Children packing event on November 15, 2007.About 133 volunteers packed over 38,000 meals that night. This was a 4 day event that all the volunteers helped to pack 372,384 meals for Haitian children. There were a total of 1595 people from various churches, schools, girl and boy scout troops and other community organizations that had a great time for an even greater cause. The Holy Spirit was definitely at work in this place!
