There are many special services held throughout the year at St. Benedict. The more traditional services include:

Marriage: It is recommended that six months notice be given prior to a wedding being scheduled. Holy matrimony is solemnized only after instruction and pre-marital counseling by Clergy. Persons wishing to be married in the church should contact our vicar Heidi.

Holy Baptism is especially appropriate at the Easter Vigil, on the Day of Pentecost, on All Saint’s Sunday, the Feast the Baptism or Our Lord (the first Sunday after Epiphany) and the Bishop’s visitation. The individual wishing to have a Baptism at the our church should contact our vicar Heidi to arrange the Baptism and to schedule pre-baptismal instruction.

Funerals: Arrangements for funerals at the church may be made by contacting our vicar Heidi.

Pastoral Care/Hospitalization: Heidi is available for pastoral care and counseling. We also have Stephen Ministers who can offer care to those who wish to receive one-on-one Christian care giving from a lay person. If you or someone you know is going into the hospital or is in need of pastoral care of any kind, please let the church office know.
