We invite you to worship with us each Sunday morning when we offer you the opportunity to gather with others in prayer and worship, to share in the Eucharist, and to join in Christian community. Our worship time is 9:00 a.m.
Our Services
The choir is present at our 9 am service where hymns and anthems are sung. Our service offers readings from the Old and New Testaments, the Psalms, and the Gospel. One of the traditions at St. Benedict is for members of the congregation to read aloud one of the several petitions during the "Prayers of the People" as the Spirit moves them to do so. We’ve been said to have a warm and welcoming church home which is evidenced as we pass the Peace with each other and as we hold hands during the Lord’s Prayer. Communion is offered each Sunday to all baptized persons.
We offer Anointing for Healing following the dismissal of the
services on the last Sunday of each month. People who wish to stay for this have the opportunity to receive the sacrament of Unction (healing) where they can come up to the altar for anointing or they may wish to stay in their seat and pray for those being anointed.
