Wise men sitting before the Holy Family

Sunday School meets the second and fourth Sundays of each month…

except for June, July, and most of August (classes begin on the last Sunday), in December (pageant rehearsals each Sunday until Christmas), and in May we meet the first and third Sundays to avoid Mother’s Day and Memorial Day.

All adults who work with children are recently certified in Keeping God’s People Safe Training, a program designed to provide a safe and supportive atmosphere for children and adults.

Holy Moly (ages 4-8)

Children meet in their classroom along the green hallway after worship. We read a Bible story, then watch a short little movie of the same story. We talk abut the story and work on a craft project. We encourage children to respond in their own way to God’s Word. (Teacher: Ruth Denofrio)

Connect (ages 9-12)

Kids meet in their classroom along the blue hallway. We watch a short movie of a Bible story, discuss the story, and play a game or do a craft related to the text. We encourage the children to question what they see and hear and express their faith as individuals loved by God.

Christmas Pageant

All children are invited to be part of our Christmas Pageant, performed each year during worship on the last Sunday before Christmas Eve.

Sunday Seminars

Adults and teenagers are welcome to join seminars addressing many topics starting at 10:30am after worship each Sunday. Topics in the last year have included Faith and Work, Dr. Martin Luther King’s Letter from Birmingham Jail, Alcoholism and the History of the Episcopal Church, and Faith and Time. Also, a panel of Bolingbrook High School Students visited to discuss the issues which concern them most.

Wednesday Night Bible Study

A group bible study meets Wednesday nights from 7-8:30 p.m., usually led by Rev. Donna, with occasional weeks off between “terms.” Contact our church office for the latest schedule. In the past, we have studied:
Genesis, Romans, Ruth, Mark, 1 & 2 Corinthians, Revelation, Song of Songs, Job, Ecclesiastes, Jonah, Zechariah, Mark, Luke, and Acts. We are currently studying Proverbs. All are welcome!
