The Church of St. Benedict was established in 1972 and met in homes, schools, and park district facilities until two geodesic domes were built ten years later to house the church. As we began outgrowing the domes we began a ReVisioning process in 1997 to determine who we were and where we wanted to go. Our Vision and Mission statements came from this as well as a capital development program. A mold problem led to the demolition of the domes in February 2002. Our new church was completed in June 2003 by Aspen Group.
